Hello! I’m Christine.
Welcome to my blog. As a special education teacher, I’ve taught just about every subject. I currently teach math and science to middle school students with and without disabilities. Before pursuing my teaching license, I studied Art & Design, and this expertise continues to influence how I create resources for my classroom. I also have years of experience working as a special education paraprofessional prior to working as a teacher.
I currently live in Illinois with my husband and our cat, Piper.
What is Creative Access?
Creative Access means finding creative ways for students to access the general education curriculum. It’s a teaching philosophy and also the name of my store on Teachers Pay Teachers. I started my store in 2016 after much encouragement from colleagues who liked my resources. Some of my best-selling resources include graphic organizers, cheat sheets, choice boards, and posters.
